HRdevelopment offers you tailored, modular training and development concepts that are carefully aligned both to your company’s particular requirements and to those of participating groups of employees. In this concept, learning transfer has a central role. That is why we use practical examples from the participants’ direct business environment when we design the learning content. Participants are faced with tasks and problems they are familiar with and learn to develop practical solutions jointly, while also being trained in the behavioural style necessary to ensure successful implementation of their newly acquired knowledge.
Whenever possible, the trainees’ superiors participate as coaches, co-trainers, sparring-partners or speakers to achieve optimal transfer results.
Management skills In times of continuous change and increasing dynamism, the management skills in a company are more than ever a decisive element of success, which means that managers at all levels must be able to adapt their leadership style and rhythm of leadership to rapidly changing conditions. This, in turn, demands distinctive management skills and a high level of leadership quality. Personal and social skills Personality and individual behavioural patterns are becoming increasingly important in today’s work environment; not only for managers, but for all employees, at all levels and in all roles. Technical know-how or understanding of work-methods alone ceased to be sufficient long ago, and only those who possess the necessary level of personal and social skills will be successful. We support you in the design, development and implementation of target group specific training and development modules: work methods; problem solving; decision finding; communication; presentation; and conflict management.

Team development Team development means improving the individual performance of team members and of a whole team. This is achieved by improving a team’s overall capabilities and by applying them to actual business. The training is aimed at expanding a team’s analytical and reflective approaches, at eliminating strained relations between team members or the team leader, and at improving the communication and co-operation within a team. We support employees and management teams in becoming more efficient when co-operating with others.
Coaching With our approach to coaching we support managers, project leaders and other high level employees in increasing their ability to handle and cope with their tasks and targets more efficiently. Our coaching improves their attitude to self-reflection and widens their behavioural repertoire. We support the people we coach by focussing on available resources and expected results.
Human Resources Management Our expertise in Human Resources Management is based on the wide range of HR topics we are confronted with on a daily basis, be it as interim managers or as project managers. This means that the know-how we transfer to our clients is practice based and comes from first-hand experience. We can train your staff in interviewing techniques, personality diagnosis and management coaching, or we transfer our technical know-how to your HR team on such topics as job and career models, variable remuneration systems, target agreements and performance assessment, personnel development, personnel controlling etc. with the help of practice and project-based scenarios.
The content and methodology of our training and development programs are aligned directly with your own corporate environment and with your specific requirements, i.e. all our training and development concepts are individualized. To this we add our implementation quality and experience.
Concept During an initial briefing with our customer we define the targets, the prevailing conditions, the needs of the target groups, the time-frame, the volume of the training, the interfaces and counterparts etc. In this meeting we also try to obtain an understanding of the strategic framework and the corporate context in which the planned development measures will be implemented. Then we convert this information into a methodical-didactical concept which serves as a decision base that covers the specific training content and includes a detailed schedule.
Development Once this initial concept has been approved, the development content and delivery method are designed and combined into a comprehensive development programme. At this stage selected line managers and the superiors of the target groups are already involved. The resulting training and development modules are reviewed twice with all participants to ensure their plausibility.
Preparation The training and development programme starts with an analysis of the participants’ situation in order to identify their personal development needs. Then the personal development focus is agreed on with each participant and incorporated in his development programme.
Implementation The individual training and development modules consist of a sequence of different learning and working modes, which are selected to suit the different learning types of each group of participants. In this particular approach to training, structured learning by experience plays a central role, and the participants play an active part in the learning process as they are involved in individual, team, and group tasks. The learning content itself is based on actual situations and topics taken from their day-to-day work, so that the theoretical basis is directly linked with business practice.
Transfer Between the training modules, so-called transfer sessions are held, during which the participants are spilt into small groups in which they review and train again the practical use of what they have learned. During these sessions they are accompanied by a learning coach from their own company.
Review At the end of the training programme a short de-briefing takes place in which the trainer, the participant and his/her superior discuss the individual learning progress and define and agree further transfer and development measures.
Controlling After each training module the participants’ feedback is analysed and evaluated in order to adapt the following modules if necessary. At the end of the whole training and development programme its content, delivery methods and sequences are reviewed and the achievement of the agreed learning targets is verified with the customer.

Effective Due to the fact that the participants’ superiors participate as co-trainers, sparring-partners or learning coaches, step-by-step development across the whole organization is made possible, with the concerned superiors fully retaining their direct management responsibility during the whole training programme.
Sustainable At the end of the program, each participant and his/her superior meet in a feedback session to review the training concerning the learning and development progress achieved, and to agree on further on-the-job measures. Hence a continuous, sustainable development process is assured.
